My name is Marcus Lindsey Durham, my friends call me Tha G.I.F.T. I was born in Gary, Indiana to a family of six. Music is my life and sole possession of being on this place, that we call earth. I joined the military shortly after graduation. I did four (4) years in the United States Navy; after I was discharged from the United States Navy I found my home in Newark, New Jersey. I wanted to be closer to New York because nobody really understood the essence of creating music like myself. I started my own studio from nothing. My friends and family were amused by the music I created. My beats, rhymes, and mind all came together as one when Im focused on a career and goal. I have made a name for myself where ever I have embraced a stage. Me performing live is the best thing the entertainment business has seen in ages. This is truly why Im none as Tha Gift. I have put energy, and excitement into many of crowds. I do believe Im one of the best unsigned PRODUCER, MC, and ENTERTAINER that the world hasnt got a chance to recognize. Im looking for a company who has the marketing ability, and respect for an artist to help me turn this image into longevity, and responsibility and to create a family of trust and bondage.
