SONORA is the deep and resonant vocals from singer/guitarist Saby Cheek, combined with Oliver Vendl’s melodic lead guitar and the thundering rhythm section of Hartwig Krebitz on bass and Florian Strobl on drums. SONORA’s dynamic, well-crafted songs alternate between intimacy and in-your-face. Whether treading lightly in an acoustic-based ballad, or firing on all cylinders in a rockin’ onslaught, SONORA is serious about music. Together since 2000, SONORA is a fearless and fiercely determined band. In 2006, Saby started her own label, RollDog Records in order to release SONORA’s music, her own solo material, as well as that of other carefully selected artists.
Receiving recognition at the Austrian “Local Heroes” competition and winning over a growing fan base, SONORA is a hardworking band from Austria – and soon the world.
