Schon seit 1996 eilt RAGATAG der Ruf als „verrückteste“ Band Mittelhessens voraus. Das soll nicht etwa bedeuten, dass die vier Jungs völlig neben der Spur laufen und besser unter ständiger ärztlicher Beobachtung stehen sollten. Verrückt ist vielmehr die spielerische Art und Weise mit der die Band allen möglichen musikalischen Stilrichtungen und Songs glorreicher Glamrock-, Reggae- und Rockheroen der 70er bis in die 90er und vielen selbstkomponierten Songs kraftvoll einen Rock´n´Ska Anstrich verpasst und zur bandeigenen, rasant bizarren Show verarbeitet - und das alles in minimaler Besetzung drums, git, bass und vocals. Selbstverständlich liefert RAGATAG dazu das passende explosive Bühnenspektakel: schrille Outfits, ekstatische Akteure und Spaß bis zum Abwinken ergeben eine Rock´n´Ska Show vom feinsten.
Founded in 1996, RAGATAG is established as crazy-creative rock band ever seen, so the people say. This necessarily does not mean the artist went totally crazy or insane - NO It was from the early beginning the kind of music, the way of composing and interlacing all the known different kinds of styles of modern Rock, Pop, Ska and Reggae to get it perfectly mixed into famous songs from the glamorous rock and reggae areas in the 70s to the 90s and in a lot of own compositions with only having the standard of instruments drums, git, bass und voc. In the end the one and only racy and spacy RAGATAG Rock´n´Ska was born. Of course, the live show is
